About This Award

This scholarship also honors Hugh M. Archer (1916-2005), a Navy veteran of World War II, electrical engineer, and businessman who led the Spiratex Company. Archer served as President of Rotary International in 1989-1990 and General Secretary, and was a longtime member of the Dearborn Rotary Club.

How to Apply

Interested veterans should contact the UM-Dearborn Veterans Affairs Office for application details. The Veterans Success Team selects the recipient and notifies the Dearborn Rotary Scholarship Coordinator. The winner is invited to the Dearborn Rotary Scholarships Celebration, typically in April or May, for recognition. The UM-Dearborn Veterans Affairs Office sets and publishes the application deadline each year.
