About Rotary Club of Dearborn

Serving the Dearborn community and the world since 1923 under the motto Service Above Self.

01Our Story

More than a Century of Service Above Self

Rotary Club of Dearborn has been serving the Dearborn community and the world since being founded in 1923. We are one of more than 46,000 clubs in Rotary, which began in Chicago in 1905.

Rotary is a global network of neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Step inside a century of club history — photographs, artifacts, and stories from more than 100 years of Service Above Self in Dearborn, presented as an immersive 3D exhibit.

05Our Ethical Compass

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say, or do.

1
Is it the TRUTH?
2
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
