Harry A. Sisson Memorial Scholarship
A memorial award continuing a legacy of generosity to Dearborn youth.
About This Award
Harry A. Sisson (1890-1961) was a Dearborn real estate developer and builder who became deeply involved in community service — serving as Highland Park city clerk in 1917, joining Rotary as a charter member, and founding the Dearborn Board of Realtors in 1926. He believed "youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind." The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce gave him their Merit Award in 1941, and the YMCA named him Layman of the Year.
